Industrial Technology

Earn your associate of applied science degree in two years and start your career right after graduation, or you can transfer to a four-year university. Or, choose a certificate and graduate after just two semesters.

The advanced manufacturing sector has hit its stride, and jobs are coming back to the U.S. Manufacturers contributed $2.09 trillion to the economy, increasing steadily from $1.73 trillion in 2009. In addition, high-tech job growth has outpaced the rest of the private sector since 2009, accounting for one out of every six private-sector jobs. This trend is expected to continue for the next decade. There is now and there will continue to be a high demand for jobs in this growth industry. For example, there are 120,000 manufacturing jobs currently available in Colorado alone.

The manufacturing industry is driven by programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and we continue to expand our offering in this technology. Employers are also interested in our Lean Manufacturing and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-related courses.
